It is traditional before leaving to take a unit photo so the narrator of the documentary that is sure to be made has something to refer to (And something to mark up with big black crosses). Suitable steps were found in the Duke of Yorks buildings, outside the new WD TAC, but flag poles had to be taken down:

A little bit of site setup lessons, but not much else in the way of training. We watched a lot of films. Dad bought some last minute spicy stuff and bits and pieces, shame to see him go.
Tues 4th March Between South Serney (sp?) and Brize Norton. Listening to Heart on the new mp3 player, very pleased with it. Almost everyone is now on #1 haircuts (how do berets stay on?). Flight 345 left at 13:00; we arrived got off the bus, got on the airbus, and off we went.
